Book Review: What Bird? By Cherie Zendarski

How are all of you out there in Boggerville today? Here at the 'V Zoo' our boss Joy just finished reading a really cute book to us. I want to share it with you too.
What Bird? written ans illustrated by Cherie Zendarski. Here's what it says on the back of the book:

“This delightful fully color-illustrated book tells of the family cat who eats the family canary in simple rhyme. Do not worry, animal lovers! There is a happy ending! Along with the lessons learned about honesty and trust among family members, What Bird? Will make all of us laugh out loud every time we read it. Written and illustrated in the author’s updated Suessian style, this book is a family favorite.”

Oh Finnigan, dear Finnigan, my cat, what have you done?
Why has the cage fallen open?
Is our bird on the run?

This is how our tale of family pets and honesty begins. Follow along as Finnigan lets his owner discover what happened to the family bird. How will she save it? What will she do?
The illustrations are simple, colorful and fun. They travel through the story bringing it to life.

My boss Joy says:
My grand children enjoyed this story asking me to read it over and over again. This is a fun, short bedtime or anytime story.

You can buy it right here from Amazon.

See you all Sunday with lots of zoo news.
