Book Review: Opus and the Red Chair by Alice Howard Koesterich

Good morning everyone in Bloggerville. Zebee here today with a very special story.

Here are a few of the many reviews this book has gotten.

“To help prepare your little people for a move, San Francisco animal lover Alice Howard Koesterich and Sara Kahn unleash a captivating children’s book about a dog, a move and the world’s comfiest red chair – all through the eyes of a golden retriever…With a mission to develop and support research that advances the prevention and treatment of cancer in people and pets, this wonderful children’s book is even easier to love”
Woofreport.com

"Hardly anyone has been spared the trauma of moving, and the distress can be particularly hard on children and pets. To make that transition easier, Koesterich has written a charming children's book Opus and the Red Chair that tells the story through the eyes of Opus, a dog who lives with his family in Boston. With an instructive story by Koesterich and sweet illustrations by Sara Kahn, Opus and the Red Chair might east the stress of relocating".
Richmond Times-Dispatch

“And now a must add to our ‘musts’ on the topic, a brand new book that speaks straight to little ones as they sort though these big big changes.
Opus and the Red Chair is the darling story of a cross-country move told from a furry, four legged perspective. Savor this charming book, and be especially pleased to note that profits from the book go directly to the Animal Cancer Foundation”

“Opus and the Red Chair helps parents ease the tension and prepare their children for the transition by sharing Opus’ journey through the eyes of a sweet pup”.

My boss Joy read us this story last night. It’s about a dog named Opus. This book is a special book. Why? Because it was written in memory of the author’s dog, Opus. Opus died of cancer when he was only 5 years old. 100% of the net profits from the sale of the books goes to the Animal Cancer Foundation
