Zoo News Sunday: Orangutans, Turtles and Field Trips

Good Sunday to you all, Zebee here. I’ve just finished another week of zoo travels and here are the best of the best for the week.

This is going on today. If you’re under 14 you can get $1.00 off if you dress up like your favorite bug. Cool! Who are you going to dress up like? I think I’ll go as a . . . ladybug or maybe a cockroach.

If you live in the area, check this out. You’ll find out everything that’s going on at the zoo.

See Simmo’s new home and learn all about this special croc.

Great video. See what this zoo has done to get it’s accreditation back and what it plans for the future.

San Diego Zoo expands to valley with tortoise center
See how far reaching zoos can be to help endangered speices survive.

Erie Zoo announces birth of baby orangutan
Read all about this new baby. I’m sure we’ll get to see pictures soon.

So, what are you going to do this afternoon? Why not visit your local zoo. Be sure to let me know what's happening at your zoo and I'll share it here next week.

Bye for now, I'm going to take a nice nap under that maple tree over there. *yawn*
See you Tuesday.
