Book Review: Wolf’s Coming! Written and illustrated by Joe Kulka

Good morning Bloggerville fans. Zebee here with a hoot of a book this week. “Wolf’s Coming!” is a cute rhyming story for young children, but older ones (especially parents) will love it too.

“Wolf’s Coming!” had been nominated for and won numerous awards including:

* 2008 Wanda Gág Award for Best Book to Read Aloud to Children.
* Bronze Medal winner in the “Picture Book – 4-8 Year Old” category of the Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards
* 2007 Society of School Librarians International (SSLI) Honor Book award in the Language Arts - Picture Books category
* nominated for the 2008-2009 North Carolina Children's Book Award.
* nominated for the 2008 Washington Children's Choice Picture Book Award
* nominated for the Young Hoosier Book Award
* chosen by School Library Journal as one the best books of 2007

Wolf’s Coming! Starts like this:

A distant howl rides the breeze,
echoing through all the trees.

Hurry! Hurry!
Don't be slow!
Follow me.
C'mon, let's go!

Wonderful illustrations accompany the story as we follow all the animals in the woods running to hide from wolf.

We all at the ‘V Zoo’ loved this story and I know your children will too. Grab your copy today at
