Book Review: Flutter Bunnies by Mel McIntyre

Good morning, Zebee here. Today we have a book about bunnies. Not just any bunnies though, these are flutter bunnies. Here’s what it says on the back of the book:

When Mystery’s gift arrives, things start going wrong. It’s up to Magic and Honey
Bunny to make Mystery feel better and save the day—and rescue Mystery from
Fancy the Fox. With help from Hooter the Owl and field mice Bubble and Squeak,
that’s exactly what they do.

After our boss Joy read it to all of us at story hour, several of the animals here at the V Zoo wanted to share their opinions with all of you. Here’s what they had to say:

Mori the okapi: Friends are great! I bet Gypsy Bunny was sure glad she had so many of them.

Billy the baby chimp: I liked Hooter the owl the best. He sure showed Fancy the fox who’s boss!

Ringo the bongo: I like the names Max gave all the bunnies. You could really see that each one is like by their name.

Lito the gerenuk: I like the imagination used to write this story. The illustrations are cool too.

Lox the elephant: I liked the way everyone pulled together to help Gypsy Bunny out with her problem.

Sounds like all the animals here at the V Zoo liked this one. Why not pick up a copy for your self? You can get your copy right here.

See you all on Sunday with more zoo news.

Remember to pop over to Books Go Beyond Reading from June 1 - 12 and join us for the “Bounding for Books Blog Tour”. It’s going to be lots of fun!
