Oh no! Is that Lito I see wandering around the zoo? It sure is. I bet Elvis let him out of his exhibit. What are those two up to now?
“Elvis, this is great. Thanks for opening the gate to my exhibit.”
“You’re welcome Lito. I need to practice for the ‘big event’ later this summer. I think I should open a different exhibit gate each night so that I get the hang of it. What do you think?”
“That sounds like a good idea. Just make sure that everyone knows this is just a test so we don’t disturb the neighbors running around the zoo at night.”
“Right. So, what do you want to see? The polar bear exhibit is really cool.”
“Lead the way. Boy, the zoo is much bigger than I though it was and it’s really pretty. I like all the different trees and flowers.”
“Here’s the chimpanzee exhibit. They have lots of fun things to do in there. See the rope swings and the slide? Almost makes me want to be a chimp for a day.”
“Here comes Billy.”
“Hey Lito, Elvis, what are you doing? Let me out. I want to see the zoo too.”
“Shhh! You chimps are so loud. Elvis will let you out another night Billy. Now go back to sleep.”
“Okay, I just wanted to play.”
“Maybe I should go back now. I don’t want to wake up the whole zoo.”
“Okay. We can try this another night, maybe when it’s raining.”
“Thanks Elvis. See you in the morning.”

Sounds like they had fun. Somehow Elvis needs to figure out how he can get all the animals out of their exhibits without waking up the ‘neighborhood’. I guess that’s an adventure for another night. (yawn) I’m ready for bed, how about you? Good night and sweet dreams.
